A crowned queen sits upright on a throne carved with lions and sunflowers, holding a wand in bloom and a single sunflower.
She faces directly out of the card. Most of the court sits in profile or turns away. She looks at you.
Her wand is flowering. The Page's wand was sprouting and the Knight's was leafed, and hers has come into bloom, which is what happens to fire when somebody knows how to keep it.
In her other hand is a sunflower, a flower that follows the light all day and turns its whole head to do it. Nothing about her attention is casual.
At her feet sits a black cat, facing outward. The cat is hers and it is watching what she is not. Every other court card in the deck is alone.
Her posture is open, her knees apart under the robe, entirely at ease. She is not performing composure. She has it.
